We have BIG news! Some of you may already be aware that our President and CEO, Gretchen Wollert McLennon, will be leaving her position at the end of this season. Gretchen has been at the helm nearly five years as only the second to lead Ballet Memphis after our founder, Dorothy Gunther Pugh, but her story with the ballet began in 1987 when she started as a pupil of the growing school on Summer Avenue. Later she served on the board of directors as part of the team that worked to relocate the headquarters and programming to the heart of midtown, and then has been serving in her current capacity since 2020.
